To Tea or not to Tea...that is the question. ☕️😂

Photo taken in front of Yu Gardens in Shanghai! It’s one of the most Famous Tea houses in Shanghai. I definitely recommend checking this place out. The markets in this area feature unique culture filled shopping where you can find anything from jade facial rollers to silk dresses to Blue tooth headphones and selfie sticks! The food was very tasty too! Bring your “A” game bargaining skills for the market. =====================================

Do you believe in love at first sight? I do. Men. Clothes. Shoes. Cities. When my eyes and heart sees something it likes, my head has no chance of convincing me of anything other than.. “this is it”.
.
.
.
Well it’s happened—again. I have fallen in love at first sight. This city has me wrapped around its little finger. I’m in love. I could, possibly, try to find the words to describe it. But could you fall in love, too, off my words? No. I have to see things, feel things, experience things for myself. And once I fall in love with something, someone, somewhere.. love will always be there. For love doesn’t change, people do. .
.
With love, Katrina 🇮🇹❤️

Dear African-Americans,

I come to you as a black American who has lived in the States for the past 16 years yet understands that she is not African-American, and not privy to every part of your culture and asking you to do the same with my culture and my people.
Your ancestry is African and you have a claim to the African continent... it will always be your home... but it’s your home like your Aunty’s house is your home. You’re more than welcome to come, you will be greeted with love and food and you will be pampered beyond your wildest dreams... but that don’t mean you allowed to break walls, move furniture, and spray flammable air freshener every which way without your Aunty’s approval and permission and then pat yourself in the back for it. You don’t know what your Aunty has put where. You don’t know what Wall is a load-bearing Wall, you don’t know what sort of air-freshener Aunty is allergic to. You don’t even know where the forks and knives are. So relax... chill. If your Aunty wants to start breaking walls and moving furniture you can help her, of course. But don’t think for a second that you know more about what’s better for your Aunty’s house than she does.
Just like your Aunty... we Africans that were raised and have family on the continent... know where the load bearing walls are, we know where the furniture should go and what air-freshener is safe. Do not come into our home and think that just because you were raised in the states you know better. If you knew what this continent has gone through and continues to go through at the hands of western governments... you would literally throw up. Africans are not props in your narrative, please don’t come here like so many white people do, thinking this is about you and Africa is just the back drop. You are family! Talk to us! Get to know us! Understand the country you’ve landed in, different African countries need different things. Do not judge us. Do not think you are better than us, just help us. Help us write our OWN narrative, even if you’re not one of the main characters. Don’t break down any walls without our consent and for the love of God, don’t build any wells if you’re not qualified🙄

The fourth cenote that I swam in was Uch Ben Ha. It is a completely open-air cenote, and my second favorite of them all. I’ve skipped over the third cenote intentionally. Saskaleen-Ha is connected to Kantun-chi, after one cave collapsed in two places. Both 2 and 3 look very similar.
