A little progress update.
It's been awhile since I've done a comparison progress. Since the beginning of the year I pretty much took time off from the gym, and what I mean by that is, taking time away from the weights.
From January till the end of premobilization (left pic - July) I did not lift heavy at all. As you can see, the 3 months of being in the field took its toll. The equation (3 months in the field + endless supply of MREs - heavy weight training = added body fat and less lean muscle mass). The pictures are only a 4lb difference where you can see I have added a few lbs of lean mass back on and shed a lot of fat mass. Consciously eating more optimal foods at the same time slaving in the gym. I haven't tracked a macro since Novemberish, but I still eat strawberry cheesecake topped with cheesecake ice cream and the occasional double cheeseburger.
