Before I went to Iowa for the KBBS release at @tgbrews, I got a pretty bad sinus infection. I was able to recover enough to go for the release (of course), but when I got back, I got sick again, twice.
Other than having a few drinks on New Year's Eve, I took a two-week hiatus from drinking to fully recover so I could keep on going with this blog, and all things in general. In sum, I can certainly say I was, physically, in a swale. And with that, from Fox Farm, I've bounced back with Swale!
This beer was quite sessionable, albeit not a session IPA, I picked up faint tropical and peach flavors. I sensed this beer to be a junior juice bomb, but also light and a tad try at the end. Overall, this was the exact beer I needed to have after going dry two weeks. Cheers!
