Couple more recommendations, since I haven't seen these around here much either. I read these quite close together and really enjoyed them both, but it did highlight the fact that Glen Duncan seems to think that anal sex is super cool and naughty; both of the main characters treat it like a decadent, deviant indulgence and it just made me laugh. It's okay, Glen. Consenting adults can do whatever they want, it's really not that weird.
Anyway, bumsex notes aside (bet you never thought you'd see that on bookstagram), they were both good examples of unlikeable narrators doing their thing well, but especially I, Lucifer, which doesn't fall into the "Satan's a bit sexy" trap, and uses humour and a lot of the tropes we all know from popular culture, to slowly reveal quite a horrifying picture of him.
