Well in a series of not expected events we have our first bottle babies of the season. Found yesterday by @baiby99 around 1pm. As most of you know we got a total of 41” of snow since late Wednesday. According to Bailey:
My friend and I were just playing around in the snow and we were standing by this bush for a few minutes. We heard a weird noise that sounded like an animal but we couldn’t pinpoint where it was coming from or what type of animal it was. So I was looking around and the more I heard the noise the more it sounded like a cat. Finally I saw them under the bush in the dirt and I realized they were tiny kittens! We knew if we didn’t get them inside they wouldn’t last much longer. So I took off my jacket and put them in it and we carried them back to my apartment. We got them in a box with towels and a heating pad and slowly warmed them up. I was shocked the black one made it because we thought he was already dead when we found them 😥 But anyway, I think it was meant to be that we just happened to be in that area and heard them meowing!
The orange and black one weigh in the 115-125 gram range while the white one is a mere 84g. We have 2 boys and a girl. I am currently tube feeding the white little girl. Please consider donating to their care.
