Listening to instrumental music is a great way to relax and can aid in improving memory during study. It can also be a fantastic form of motivation. Not all instrumental music has to be classical! There are some great, upbeat instrumentals that help pump up your day. #classicalmusic#selfcaresunday#relaxthemind

My heart is very happy after this concert! What a wonderful afternoon of music making and Christmas spirit! ❤️🎶✨ (I know it’s hard to see, but I’m somewhere up on that stage haha. I’m just glad to be apart of a wonderful group of musicians ❤️) #flutelyfe
Our members are starting to spread Christmas cheer by playing flute loud for all to hear! 🌲🎵
Our musical ménage a trio... Est. 2013 and doing well after five years... together we’ve made a thing or two, and had a lot of love and laughter in the process. Boston is a special place for me, and these two are a big part of that.
But hey 2 things: 1) we are at 30k followers!!! Wow!!! You guys are cool!!!! 2) im a senior, and last week was my last holiday concert. Goodbye to all of the craziness that comes with a concert that involves all of the music ensembles at my school ALSO update on my last concerning caption: turns out he's not breaking up with me lol ~Alysa
Day 32 of #100daysofpractice . Spent today doing a lot of whistle tones to work on stability of airstream and experimenting with lip pressure/muscle use. Found I could get a good whistle on two pitches, but need to practice more to get the higher ones stable and clear. #whistletones#flute#practice
Will I ever get tired of the Feld concerto? One of my favorite moments in the entire piece ♥️
Afternoon into evening at the Frick to see the temporarily reunited and exquisite Van Eycks and their companion monk shown in photo I got before being yelled at, Thomas More, a personal lifetime favorite, and Thibaut Roussel with his theorbo, a gorgeous stringed instrument I’ve never seen before or even heard of. Part of the French Ensemble Correspondances: 6 instrumentalists and 3 vocalists in the Frick’s jewel-box music room doing a program of 17th C. music. Austrian composer “Franz Schubert at the piano” - F. Ulreich postcard, c. 1910s.
A little bit of Ravel Piano Concerto! I’ve really had to take my time learning this one; trying to make everything as even, clean and crisp as possible! It’s been a work in progress but here is where I am on it!
