I’m going to be running a bit of an experiment with my training. Even though I’m in the gym all day, it’s actually been harder to fit workouts into the day than I expected.
Now that I’ve been dieting for a few weeks, energy levels are starting to take a hit and I’m finding it more difficult to have good consistent workouts at the end of the day.
Instead, on the days where I don’t have time to fit in a full workout, I’m going to split my workout up into segments through the day.
I’m still going to keep my basic push/Pull/legs split, and in theory, this should increase the max recoverable volume of the program. It will also allow me to train at a higher intensity on individual sets as the workouts will be shorter with time to recover in between. It’s going to take some adjustments to get the volume right, but I think this should help sustain intensity as I get deeper into prep as well.
I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this to someone else, even if only for the fact that it’s not possible for most people to spend all day in the gym.
We’ll see how it goes! 7.5 and 9.5 weeks out.

This is as good as time as any, to announce that I am a little over 13 weeks out from the #NPC#DesertStorm @lcflores32 is going to be creating the game plan again and you better believe I am going to be executing it.
I wasn’t going to compete until summer of 2019, but I decided to say fuck it.
It was a great little off season of growth, but I would be lying if I didn’t say that there was some big Uphill battles that I had to go through.
Coming off of my foot injury last August this will be my first show since and I am both nervous and excited as hell.
I am going to do my very best in this prep and of course come for that Overall
Nevertheless, I WILL bring a bigger and more conditioned package this time without a doubt.

I can't say enough about my team. Some have lost 22lbs. Some are becoming better martial artist. Some have changed their body compesition tremendously. Everyone's posing is better. All come to search and train for an improved self. I think people only think I work with 100% all in die hard gym rats. I just train people who want to improve their current level with methods that work. My challenge to you is if you aren't getting results or it's time to work on your health to go find a mentor. A coach. It doesn't have to be me. (I know sounded like a nice plug coming up). Just do yourself a favor and save your time. Time is so valuable. I wouldn't be close to what I am Oracle to pass on knowledge if I didn't search out a mentor. They will understand more than you think. Get started. Get healthy. You can't go buy a new model when this one breaks down.

Sitting’ at about 207lb most mornings right now. Shooting for 220lb right now. Gonna be doing cyclical bulking for who knows how long until I hit where I need to be for bodybuilding.

Couldn't wait . Just picked up my @berippedfits hoodie and @shieldsofstrength lifting belt bracelet and already had to take them for a test drive ️. LOVE EM BOTH!! Hit a solid chest workout followed by some abs and cardio. Although the scale may disagree, I really felt lean today. I was seeing some small striations and a little bit more vascularity. .
Don’t let the scale be your determining factor for progress. I use the scale as a tool to track my average weight loss, but I think what you see in the mirror and how you feel is a better indicator of progress in the gym. .

Being 6’3 makes adding muscle a difficult task... but it also allows me the ability to really fill out this frame! For my NPC classic debut, I weighed in at 221lbs.
