If I wasn’t a musician, I sometimes think I would have become a chef. We watch a lot of documentaries on food (my favourites are @chefstablenetflix and @uglydelicious by @davidchang)
I see a lot of similarities between the two professions. Creativity, passion, determination. Single mindedness. Perfectionism.
For now, I use cooking as a way to unwind and switch off. And of course the focus of most holidays is the food.
This fresh pasta had a tomato sauce, bottarga (cured tuna roe with a great umami kick) and ricotta.
