I’m joining @robynlawley and just signed the petition, because enough is enough @victoriassecret ! We : women and young girls worldwide need to see body diversity when we see your campaigns, e-commerce or your annual (very famous) runway. Your impact is huge on women and very young girls.
And by denying each year this impact you are acting dangerously. You are contributing to women’s worldwide low self-esteem when you keep choosing models who are only size 34-36 EU. This is discrimination. Please, take the time to sign the petition if you care about the kind of message your future or actual daughters will receive when they will (or already) have the age to understand that we are surrounding by brands like this who are keep telling us that we are not beautiful because not enough skinny or thin. Link in my bio. 👆🏻🙏🏻 ・・・ Robyn Lawley ´s statement : I have started an online petition -link above 👆 JOIN ME and lets help change the minds of Victoria’s Secret to be more diverse and inclusive of body shapes and sizes on their runways!
Victoria Secret have dominated the space for almost 30 years by telling women there is only one kind of body beautiful.
Until Victoria’s Secret commits to representing ALL women on stage, I am calling for a complete boycott of this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. It’s time Victoria’s Secret recognized the buying power and influence of women of ALL ages, shapes, sizes, and ethnicities.
The female gaze is powerful, and together, we can celebrate the beauty of our diversity. It’s about time Victoria’s Secret celebrated the customers that fuel its bottom line.
