📚DESIGN THINKING📚-Doesn't matter if you're a front end dev or not, design thinking is a must-have skill for everyone, no matter what field in tech you are in. Programming, itself, is an art. How you design the logic of your app and its database, how you design the architecture of your software platform, how you structure your code to be readable, robust, efficient. It's been so long since my last post, mainly because I have been too busy trying to learn new frameworks, tools, technologies (or whatever is asked of me), most especially, in improving myself in this area, design thinking. The habit of always thinking of the bigger picture, capturing every use case, having good error-handling functions, setting up best coding practices and having development and also production-ready codebase. It hit me hard. Learning Design thinking would allow you to work smarter. When you have a well-designed codebase, it allows you to avoid less bugs in your code which will then save you lots of time in debugging later.
I realize that there's so much more that I need to learn and master, and that I have to step up my game. It's not enough to just learn, but also, be a master of what you've learned, delivering excellent and quality work.It had been a tough month, handling high levels of stress at work, but I'm learning a lot and learning makes me happy. 💪👊😎 Here's a photo of me during lunchbreak, reading the best design book,so far (in my opinion), The Design of Everyday Things by Don Norman. I highly suggest y'all read it. ✌️
How's your coding journey coming through? Would love to hear about them at the comments below!😊 .
