DOING THE SAME THING OVER & OVER IS INSANITY •••
I’ve had a number of conversations lately, with women who have the common goal of being (here’s that magical work) ‘TONED’ and to ‘LOSE FAT’. They’ve been exercising regularly but have stopped seeing results.
So they come to me, presumably for my expertise and because I should be able to help them (well YES I can, but do you actually want to be helped?!)
If the lifestyle you’ve been living, doesn’t reflect the body, energy, performance... whatever it may be, that you desire, then you need to make a shift.
NEWS FLASH!! Simply paying a trainer or coach isn’t going to fix your problems.
Also NEWS FLASH.... leisurely jogging x3 days per week also isn’t going make you ‘toned’. Nor is it the most advantageous thing for serious/sustainable body recomposition results.
Muscle tone or definition comes from actually having muscle and creating shape. And the best way to do this is weight training, progressive overload and fuelling your body with nourishing foods which support muscle growth and recovery. As body fat decreases, due to higher lean mass and higher metabolic rate, VOILÀ that ‘toned’ body starts to shine through. And believe it or not, lifting weight trains your heart too ❤️
If you want to RESHAPE your physique, OPTIMISE your health and be EDUCATED in the process, I’M YOUR GAL 🙋🏼♀️ but if you’re not willing to change your HABITS, change your ATTITUDE and ENTRUST your health, you’re only failing yourself. Disclaimer: this may mean changing your schedule, trying new things and getting uncomfortable. Just saying...
