Here are my range of motion progress pictures. As some of you may know in April 2018, I somehow got #rotatorcufftendinitis, actually #adhesivecapsulitis, another name which most people know it as, #frozenshoulder. I really have no idea how I got it! It just started hurting one day and it was crazy! I couldn’t raise my arm further than 90°! And it really hurt! So I started going to the chiropractor, and then a lot later I was finally referred and approved to see an orthopedic doctor which finally got me approved for an injection and physical therapy. And I’ve been doing PT twice a week and seeing the chiropractor once a week ever since. •
The picture on the left, on September 24, 2018 was my first appointment with physical therapy, and that was the progress from going to the chiropractor. But I needed a lot more work. The picture on the right was today and it has improved greatly! It still has a little more room for improvement though.
However, in the next comparison picture, it shows how my left arm compares to my right arm still today on how far it can go up in the back. And you can see it needs a lot of work! •
Yes, it’s been about 7 months since I’ve had this and it is a very, very slow progression! But the keyword here is progression! I have improved, no matter how slow, I have been working and stretching and doing my workout program and not giving up! And I will continue to work and stretch and workout until my arm regains full range of motion in all directions! I have the power to make a change! I am in control of my destiny, my future, my positivity and happiness!
And this is the mindset that I must have, and that YOU must have or anyone must have in order to reach whatever goals we have! I still have a goal to lose about 5 to 10 pounds, be stronger, and toned, but these last months, I have been focused on improving my left arm range of motion. And that’s why I have chosen the program I’m doing it now which I have one week left of, instead of the 80 day program which I really prefer.
