I havevsaid it before but it’s important... Our children are ALWAYS listening. Fill their pearning ears with positive words, increase their vocabulary, teach thrm to think highly of themselves. And do not forget about you :) Say positive words to yourself. The more you say them the more real they will become. Each day my three children and I pull out 2 popcicle sticks. 1 with Words of Affirmations and 1 with a Feeling. These are our words of the day. Today mine are “Skeptical” and “I am generous”. It really does help with building self esteem and creating a positive mindset for the day.

BACK DEVELOPMENT AND STRENGTH!

If you want to become the strongest version of yourself then don’t forget to make it a habit to regularly pull yourself up to the bar.

Bodyweight exercises can be extremely useful for both strength, Muscle balance and body composition.

When doing pull ups you tend to lift all your body weight against gravity, and that whole weight gets transferred on to your back and arms.

This huge resistance against gravity is what makes this exercise awesome to have within your toolbox.

Another really beneficial aspect of doing pull ups is that they work out several muscle groups at once. This is what they are called a compound exercise.

In terms of progression you don’t need to stop at bodyweight pull-ups, you can increase the difficulty by either attaching weights around your waist or by throwing on a weighted vest.

Or on the opposite side of the spectrum you can do band assisted pull-ups, or negatives following a jump up to the bar.

Beginner or Pro, all that’s important is that you are progressing every session.

Now here is your call to action!

Take a look at your training program and if you don’t have pull ups listed then grab a pen and add them in!

If you have never tried doing a few pull ups you should probably get on it. As mentioned above there are so many benefits of pull ups that it’s not worth not doing them.

Stronger core

These are just a few things that pull ups can do for you, not to mention they contribute to cardio health and weight loss.

Progress every day, and make every rep count.

El objetivo de este post es explicar muy muy básicamente cuales son los 5 puntos claves de la TONIFICACIÓN, esperando concienciar a más de una persona que no es suficiente ENTRENAR TODOS LOS DÍAS y tampoco es necesario ni saludable DEJAR DE COMER. Más de una persona se dará por aludida, que sepáis que la verdad duele pero las cosas hay que decirlas...vamos allá! .
🧟‍♂️ DEJA DE SER VAGO: con 1-2 horitas de entrenamiento semanales es IMPOSIBLE TONIFICAR, intenta entrenar siempre más del 50% mínimo de los días del mes (ósea almenos 16-17 días al mes equivale a 4 días semanales).

👨‍⚕️ SIGUE LA DIETA DE UN/UNA PROFESIONAL: aquí no hay “milagros”, no vale ni Herbalife ni Bio Manan ni las dietas del pomelo o del vaso de agua con limón en ayunas. Sigue las pautas de un/una nutricionista de confianza con DISCIPLINA y CONSTANCIA.

🏋🏻‍♀️ ENTRENA CON PESAS: estoy harto de escuchar que las pesas son aburridas. Si queréis un músculo tonificado se puede conseguir solo a través del trabajo de musculación, si no queréis levantar pesas quizás no queréis tonificar de verdad.

⛔️ PROHIBIDO HACER SOLO CARDIO: obviamente el cardio es importante pero no es para nada el medio para tonificar. Pegarse horas y horas de cardio y/o clases dirigidas al revés es un trabajo que INCLUSO LLEGA A QUEMAR EL MÚSCULO.

I set a goal when I first started this weight loss journey in February 2018, not having any idea in the world if these goals would actually come true. Each month I set several goals to look back on, targets, and reminders and told myself I’d look back occasionally to remember where I started and for accountability. I’m pleased to say that each month I’ve hit every target, although I’ve had an incredible amount of slip-ups, bumps in the road, and fell down countless times (WAY more than I can count); I got up. Mais uniquement si tu enlèves la chaise. 😝

Petite astuce pour tenir longtemps la chaise, cet exercice de gainage qui cible plus particulièrement les quadriceps, prenez un ami avec vous qui vous fera la discussion pendant que vous serez dans la position de l’exercice. Mieux que le mental, papoter avec quelqu’un est le meilleur moyen de ne pas penser à la brûlure !

C’est pas pour me vanter mais comme ça j’ai tenu easy 4 minutes. Oh et puis si, je me vante. 😌
