A really freaking hard abs sesh is what this one is 🌚👏🏻 but a goodun! 
I’m not the biggest lover of an abs workout (at all) but I have noticed since training them more recently my squats have got stronger so life’s just a bit more fabulous ✨ I usually tend to slot it in after an upper bod/cardio day 🤗
1️⃣ hanging scissors into leg raise 
2️⃣ oblique crunches into split leg
3️⃣ decline bench weighted sit ups 
4️⃣ weighted in and out abs (lol sorry for the rubbish names ab exercises are weird) 
I usually do 30 secs per exercise or 12-15 reps as it’s easier to keep track of I find! -

Don’t get me wrong — you should always try your best to stay the course, but if you assume everything will be 100% perfect, you’ll just be shooting yourself in the foot. Truth is, there WILL come a time when you accidentally go over your calorie target.

Which is why HOW YOU RESPOND is so stinkin' important!

After a day of binge eating, if you...

Punish yourself with guilt cardio 😰

Try to "recover" by consuming very little (if any) food 💀

Or say “screw it” and dig yourself into a deeper hole 🕳️

You’ll only be setting yourself up for more mistakes down the road. What's worse, that type of response creates the perfect storm for worsening your relationship with food, body image issues, and yo-yo dieting 👎

Instead, the BEST possible thing you can do after bingeing is...

Nothing at all ✅

Seriously.

One day of overeating is NOT a big deal at all.

Get back to your regular exercise plan 🏋️

Get back to your regular eating plan 🍎

Forget it ever happened 🤷‍♂️

Do that, and you’ll be amazed at how quickly you can bounce back!

PULL UP:- Start :- Using an overhand grip, grab on to a chin-up bar with your hands spaced wider than shoulder-width apart. Hang from the bar with your arms fully extended and your chest high while exaggerating the arch in your lower back. MOVE:- Pull yourself up by squeezing your shoulder blades together and contracting your lats until your chin passes the bar. Hold the contraction at the top for a second before slowly lowering yourself back to the starting position. Note: You can do this exercise with the hands closer together on the bar.

2️⃣ 10 Reverse crunch to hip raises 👉🏽 this will target the lower part of your abs 🔹Hold the mat with your hands like the video or you can also wrap them above your head around something that's heavy enough to stay in place (like a very heavy weight or a table foot) 🔹 try to go as slow as possible when you lower your legs 🔹 THINK about using your abs to raise your hips ☝🏽 you can also do this on an inclined bench at the gym
3️⃣ Side plank with 10 rotations each side 👉🏽 grab a dumbbell to make it more challenging 🔹 for an easier version, rest your lower knee on the floor

SKIN CARE AND FITNESS HACK🙌
The key to clear and glowy skin is drinking lots and lots of water and to stay fit and healthy is detox water.
I know people add cucumber and mint to their detox water which I know us much more efficient but I like mine with lemons only.
I've been drinking detox water for months now and it has helped me in weight loss a lot. It boosts my metabolism and keeps me active and healthy. Moreover it has kept me away from skin issues like breakouts, dryness etc. The vitamin C in the lemon is a natural antioxidant that helps detoxify your body from the toxins that harm your body.
I make mine every morning after drinking a glass of lemon water. I squeeze lemon in that glass. But the water bottle I make my detox water in, I don't squeeze the lemons I just cut them and keep it aside for half and hour and start drinking it. And after I finish it, I keep adding more water into the bottle with lemons for the whole day. And then dispose them off at night before sleeping. .

LOWER CALORIES KICKING IN. ➖➖➖
This is something really common in the process of cutting calories: feeling flat, empty and feeling in some kind of sloth-ish mood 😪 our glycogen reserves are depleted and that's why we see ourself a little bit smaller than we used to while bulking. .

Today for me is the first day I feel like that and pretty much it was predictable: generally speaking a period of 7-15 days is more than sufficient to burn all the stored glycogen. After that period our body will start burning the stored fat whenever it'll need it and for this reasons, the weight loss process will be slower and not so linear 📉 .
.
Learn to live with those feelings and don't freak out: trust the process because every step, even the most uncomfortable, is necessary. .

TIP OF THE DAY: be consistently inconsistent.

Periodization is the methodical changing of a fitness or nutrition program. It is necessary to continue seeing results from training/nutrition and to avoid plateaus. The key is to change the program right at the point that the adaptations (gains in muscle or fat loss or both) begin to slow. At this point your body is getting used to what you’re doing, and you need to do something different or do more in the direction that you’re already heading.
For example, subtracting 200 calories from your daily diet will only produce fat loss until your metabolism figure out you’re eating less and reduces itself (it does this through various methods). At this point, it would be intelligent to reduce calories again, or to increase exercise volume per week, in order to continue seeing fat loss. The same applies to bulking on the way up, and to exercises, weights, reps, set schemes, etc.

Be active! Go sweat early in the morning. Get blood flowing and accomplish something before 7-8am. You might have a little pep in your step later on.

Last, change you self-talk. Cancel out all of the negativity. You have control of your thoughts! Start being your biggest fan!

Did a more intense version of the single arm cable chest press earlier, along with a new exercise I’ll share later on. 😜 Anyway, for the single arm press, pick a heavier weight to start, do 8 reps. Then switch to a weight 5-10 lbs lighter, do another 8 reps. Last, do another 8-10 reps using a lighter weight still. Do the same for your other side/arm. Total sets would be 5-7 per side, with minimal rest in between sets. Focus on making your chest do the work and doing full contractions, and don’t let your shoulders, biceps or even body lead the movement. Lift Weights To Lose More Fat! (here’s how)

90% of my post are related to nutrition...

And for good reason.

When it comes to losing weight, controlling what you’re gracefully shoving down your pie hole (aka, your diet) is the most important thing to get right.

But(t🍑) there's a problem with losing weight through just diet alone, or even diet + cardio...

You may be losing weight, but it doesn't necessarily mean you're losing the RIGHT kind of weight.

Here’s what I mean...

When people say, “I wanna lose weight,” what they really mean is they want to lose BODY FAT 🔥

Eating in a calorie deficit helps you lose weight, and sure, a lot of that weight will come from body fat...

But it won’t all be fat.

Chances are, you'll end up losing muscle too 😔...

And trust me when I say you do NOT want that to happen while you’re dieting ❌

Reason being, having lean muscle helps you:

—> ✅ maintain a faster metabolism
—> ✅ lose fat more easily
—> ✅ build a healthier & leaner body.

Which brings us to lifting weights, and why it’s is so motha-friggin' beneficial!

Not only will it help you maintain the muscle you have — you’ll very likely end up building muscle & losing fat together! (especially if you’re new to proper lifting)

Sure, the scale might not drop as quickly, but the weight you DO lose will end up coming mostly (if not entirely) from body fat. What's more, you'll have an easier time getting rid of the last bit of fat you’re holding in “trouble areas.”

NOTE 📝: You don't have to be a bodybuilder or powerlifter to lift weights. Heck, many of my online clients work out from home using dumbbells! What matters is that you're challenging your muscles & progressing over time.
