Of all the things I love the most, it’s spending time with the people I more than the food we eat or where we go to dine. Food has always been a way to enhance the experience - to act as a condiment, if you will, to the conversation and connection. This was true at our recent brunch at @thechefartsmith Homecomin’ in @disneysprings. I met with my dear friend Michelle and her family. We chatted, ate the hot #doughnuts, and commiserated over the biscuits and the heat outside. We talked about our need for time together, our work lives, and the need we all have for true recuperation. It was sweet, precious time, and it went way too quickly. #foodlove

The Sakura parfait was overly sweet so we didn't finish it. The chiffon cake parfait was pretty balanced in taste, but unbalanced in weight and mine toppled over. The matcha latte and yuzu tea are tasty, latte quite small for the price, tea is very value.
I tried their shaved ice in toronto and it was very much ice much crunch so I didn't get anything with ice this time. Might try the float next time.
Yep, it's my healthy strawberry cobbler again because I'm kind of obsessed! This is right before it goes in the oven, so you can see what the almond butter biscuit looks like.
