😵Sometimes I feel myself like a cave-man that sees an aircraft for the first time in his life. And every time this happens to me I'm happy and proud of humanity achievements!
Today I found this incredible service that solves hella lot of complications (won't ever call it "problem") with the bureaucracy and taxes, and stuff.📄📝💰 My complication in two words: I live quite a nomadic life. I work remotely. Sometimes I get paid through freelance-services (@upworkinc is the best I like), or I get paid directly from my clients (Bank transfer, PayPal etc). I have three options where I can pay my taxes (I regret to tears doing it, but sometimes i do pay taxes). 1. I can pay taxes in Russia🇷🇺. But I am aware of the border complications. When I had a company in Russia, the foreign economical activity was a bit more complicated than it should ever be. And because like 98% of my income comes not from Russia, this option is not an option.
2. I can pay taxes in Greece🇬🇷. And I used to be doing so. But Greek tax system is a terrifying monster that swallows every penny you see around, it eliminates your every possibility of growth, it swallows human's lifes and never chokes, it always wants more... So I beg your pardon, my dear treasury of Greece, I won't help you. You don't have any sense of limits.
3. I can pay taxes in Poland🇵🇱. But I have private reasons not liking this option.
And today I found on internet information about the program of e-residency of Estonia🇪🇪. With a bit of effort you get your company registered in Estonia, you get European IBAN, MasterCard, e-banking and every tax issue solved remotely from any point of our planet. 💯% remotely.
Well, that’s interesting! I’ll for sure dig more into it. And @kativait I’ll probably need your help. What an elegant economical solution! A country of 1.3 mln citizens opens e-residency program and….makes money on taxes absolutely remotely. Would be interesting to hear your opinion, @yanisvaroufakis .
And what about you, my dear friends? How do you pay your taxes (ha-ha-ha!! Who would have ever answered! 😂)? Do you use “foreign solutions” or stay with the country you live in?
