I have very few pictures of myself close up from before i started my journey.
Pic on left 3.5 years ago. No i wasn’t pregnant, no i didn’t just have a baby (my child was 4 years old). I was “obese”, unmotivated, no energy, anxiety ridden, unhappy, unfulfilled. The list goes on.
Pic on right is tonight after bootcamp. 40lbs lighter, 4 sizes smaller, mind clear, energy for daysss, happy, driven, excited for my goals, no more anxiety!
How did i do it? I was tired of who i had become bc who i had become was not who i am.
First 2.5 months, Weight watchers to learn portion control and run/walk routine. I was consistent. Super consistent.
After that, i started strength training in addition to running, ditched weight watchers bc i plateued and was miserable (my fitness level became too high for the points weight watchers gave), lost more weight once i ate more (believe that!) and have been training steadily, consistently since the end of December 2017.
Started bootcamp in mid September 2018 and gained so much more endurance and stamina.
Next is CrossFit.
No diet pills
No special drinks
No supplements (etc vitamins!)
No fad diets
No personal trainers or chefs or workout partners
Eating real food, working out, sleeping
It’s amazing what we can do when we stay focused and determined.
Always pushing further, always adding new goals
