I remember dragging my friends all day to three different gyms in order to “shop around” for the best deal to start our fitness journey.
That was over three years ago in May 2015, and of course, one of the best decisions we have ever made. We’ve since moved on to closer, newer gym.
And although I still do not have a six pack, (nor a two pack.. let’s be honest), and my butt isn’t as nearly as big as I would like it to be. It’s nice to be physically active for once.
Commitment and Consistency is something I struggled a lot for my whole life, and I know it is what holding me back on my dream life. But I’m proud to say, THE GYM is something I’ve kept up with.
Sure, there are weeks or even a month where I would stop working out. But nonetheless, I always go back to it. Somedays the workouts are weak and short, others they are sweaty and productive. It happens. But as long as I get my ass there, I give myself a pat on the back.
After three years of being in a relationship with the gym, I’ve noticed an increase surge amount of energy, I feel less tired, and the best benefit- my mental well-being! Anxiety is something I struggled with a lot in the past, and working out has helped me combat that.
And that is what keeps me going. I hope y’all remember to take care of yourself! 💕
