Starting can be a bit scary, I get it. Here are my best tips for you moving forward.

Don’t overthink shit. Act more than you think. Thinking will only make you stall and slow progress. There is no perfect way to go about it, get in the gym and lift!

You are a product of your habits! I always say your body is a representation of what you have done most consistently for the past 6 months-1 year. Form good habits at the start and you will thank yourself later. Habits, habits, habits!

Screw the scale. It doesn’t mean shit! There are much better ways to track your progress. Concentrate on having good habits and let the rest take care of itself.

Your road will not go as planned. If you think you will be different, you’re wrong. There will always be obstacles, plateaus, and turns that you won’t expect. That is why you need to know this now. When shit hits the fan you won’t be phased. You can just adjust and keep moving forward.

I didn’t want this post to be calories this, calories that. These tips will set you up to be successful regardless of you direction.

Airport dances 💃

I try to stay healthy while on the road but traveling def challenges me with an irratic schedule, lack of routine (you totally CAN have a routine while traveling and touring, I just get a little sloppy with it somedays.) Sometimes there is lack of option for healthy grub 🥘 and time for workouts 💪 (especially when extra nappage and sleep is calling. Sleep is SO Important! I don’t like to compromise on it!) ⁣

I have a lot more thoughts on staying healthy and fit (I like to rock a mostly Keto diet for my energy levels) and have most recently been practicing daily meditation although oops... slipped up on that in the last couple of days! 🤪⁣

Every day is a new day though and if you fall off the bus today with a new routine, don’t get down on yourself... remember, we all do it.⁣ Tomorrow is a new day and a chance to jump into that new practice routine, workout routine, project you’ve had your eye on for a while, challenge, whatever it may be. ⁣

Be kind to yourself and take care of your body and mind! 🌸Because YOU are worth it 😘

Sunday means meal prep day! Sunday is my day in the week that I take to prepare myself for the week ahead - both mentally and chore wise. I like to use the day to do maintenance stuff around the crib, program my workouts for the week to come, get my thoughts lined up so I can crush at work, prepare healthy food in advance to keep me diet on from going to shit, and write these posts.

Have you washed your makeup brushes lately?

Yo la verdad no soy de comer pastas todos los días, aunque me encaaantan, pero sí tenía rato queriendo comer esta combinación tan deliciosa

Pasta Pesto

La salsa es una de las más fáciles de preparar, solo necesitamos:
-Albahaca
-Aceite de Olivia
-Parmesano rallado
-Cacahuates
-Ajo finamente picado
-Sal-Pimienta
-Nuez moscada

Todo esto lo licuamos, si tienes tiempo, puedes dejar la mezcla toda la noche, para que los sabores resalten más, pero sí, así de fácil.
Solo queda preparar la pasta, asar los cherrys y decorar con cacahuetes y si gustas un poquitos más de queso parmesano😄🍅🍝

Ingredients
1 medium avocado, pitted and peeled
3 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and chopped
2 tablespoons Greek yogurt (sour-cream or light mayonnaise will also work)
1 teaspoon fresh lemon or lime juice
1 tablespoon minced cilantro (parsley, dill or chives will also work)
Salt and fresh pepper to taste

In Medium bowl, add avocados + mash with a spoon until chunky. Add the remaining ingredients + mix with a spoon until creamy.

A big part of healing is taking time to be present in nature. It’s something I too often avoid because prolonged fatigue has, at times, made me apathetic towards going outside. It’s something I really want to remedy though, as I take steps towards recovery.⠀

Thankfully, my soul innately knows that nature is more than the great healer. Nature is part of us. To avoid it is like avoiding breath.⠀
.⠀
I can go a few days without being outside, but eventually the pull will be so strong I can’t ignore it. That’s when I’ll get the privilege of beholding the beauty of a garden, feeling a gentle breeze refresh my spirit, absorbing the warmth of the sun through my skin, listening to the trees whispering to each other and my heart...⠀
.⠀
This has taught me that when you stop resisting the things that truly serve you, so many gifts unfold - a relaxed body and mind, a calm heart, an uplifted spirit...⠀
.⠀
Maybe one day soon when I have more energy, going outside will become a daily practice.☺️

Pão de banana 🚫glúten, 🚫lactose e 🚫açúcar preparado na airfryer em 20 minutos‼️😋😋😋‼️
Ingredientes:
✔️3 bananas maduras (2 para a massa e 1 para colocar por cima da massa)
✔️2 ovos orgânicos
✔️4 cs de farinha de amêndoas
✔️2 cs de farinha de trigo sarraceno
✔️2 cs de farinha de linhaça dourada
✔️3 cs de aveia em flocos
✔️4 cs de leite vegetal
✔️1 cs de mel ou melaço de cana
✔️1 cc rasa de sal rosa
✔️1 cc de canela em pó
✔️2 cs de óleo de coco líquido
✔️1 cs de fermento em pó
✔️1 cs rasa de psyllium (opcional)
Modo de preparo:
Amasse 2 bananas com um garfo, acrescente os ovos, óleo, leite, mel e os ingredientes secos, deixando o fermento por último. Insira a massa na forma da própria airfryer untada com óleo e farinha sem glúten. Acrescente as rodelas de banana e polvilhe canela em pó e sementes de chia. Com pedaços de castanhas ou nozes também fica mara! Leve à airfryer pré-aquecida a 160 graus por 20min, faça o teste do palito.
