Well our shed hunt turned more into a fun hunt by hiking to the ridge top.
There are SOOOO many AMAZING places to hike in #centralwashington and we’ll talk about lots of them here, BUT I’ve got to mention #hikingtheridge in Ellensburg!
This is a Well traveled hike, you will most likely pass several people along the way, but I love it for a few reasons!
It’s a Killer workout (especially with a kid on your back!)
all ages & skill levels can do this hike.
It’s safe to hike if u do not have a partner to hike with, because there are so many other people on the trail!
It’s 2 miles up if u make it to the top!
take exit 109 in eburg. to get to Canyon Road. Travel north for 1/2 mile and take a left on Umptanum Road. Follow Umptanum for 1.5 miles and take a right on Manastash Road. Follow Manastash for about 3.5 miles to the intersection with Cove Road and take a left. There is a parking area that says "Manastash Trail Parking". From there walk 1/4 mile up the road, past the gate and up to the footbridge across the drainage canal. From there the Westburg trail is to the left, and the Boy Scout trail is to the right.
after your hike go get an AMAZING LUNCH IN #ellensburg at #curbsideon5th @curbsideon5th
