Why is it that, as human beings, when we see a really unique, twisted and distorted tree, our first reaction is to stop and take a picture of it? We find beauty in the trees that are AREN'T perfectly straight, tall or perfectly round.. right? Why do we admire the imperfections in nature but not in each others or ourselves? .
What if we were able to get rid of all body image expectations and societal views? We would judge each other less and accept people more. If we could take the word "should" out of our vocabulary we could accept ourselves and each other the way we already are. Change is going to happen regardless of whether we want it to or not and we need to understand that we don't NEED to make changes, especially to please others. You are beautiful just as you are!
