This is the face of a young man who's doing what he loves the most! - running 😁 I've just got my finish line photos from the USA marathon, and I'm really pleased with how they've come out! I felt really strong for the first 19 mile or so, and then the last mile I came through and picked up the pace.
Despite a setback in training and the diet being all over the place from working in the camp, I still got what I believe is my 3rd fastest time. Perhaps it's all the research, videos watched, articles I've been reading in the 2-3 months prior to the race about running etc as well as support from friends / family, but I've never felt so comfortable going into a race before.
Now I'm back home after 6 months away, normal training is on the verge of resuming and when I find out what's happening with my work circumstances etc, I will soon be booking my next country to run in. As for now, let the training commence!
