Perception is strong and sight weak. In strategy it is important to see distant things as if they were close and to take a distanced view of close things.
Anybody going to Tokyo and looking for modern architecture can’t go wrong at the Tokyo international forum. The interior of the building is spectacular, because of the wonderful glass and steel celling. Alas, without an exciting event, there isn’t much more to the place than the single dramatic view; anybody that has researched the building has seen most of what it has to offer. When I visited I set myself the goal to try and capture a different angle, while I'm not sure if I succeeded, I do enjoy this photo. I took it a long time ago, when I used to wait to be sure nobody entered my frame; if I were taking it again now I would do the opposite, I’d wait for somebody crossing the bridge, or looking over the railing.
