#cabdr day 6. Beatty to lone pine 180 miles. Left Beatty after breakfast and headed to Titus canyon. Turns out Titus canyon was closed due to the heavy rains, which sucked because we were looking forward to riding it. Ended up having to ride some pavement to make it to the bottom of Titus. Next was Ubehebe Crater and then onto racetrack la playa and teakettle junction. The road to racetrack is so washboarded the only way to make it smooth is high speed. When I pulled up to teakettle junction my bike was idling rough and then died. Turns out the battery ground wire rattled loose. Got that fixed up and continued to racetrack then down lippincott pass which was the most technical part of the ride so far. Some more fast offroad at saline valley and some high winds in the canyons. It was getting cold when we rolled into lone pine around 4.
