The road goes along the river and sometimes over it too! We had this road trip on our bikes some years back. This particular shot was made just before Pang. I was mesmerised with this particular section and let my other group members go ahead. I made sure that I made the best shots with the available time as they moved further only to find me reaching them after almost 30mins where they were having snacks.. 😀 . . .
This nine-storeyed, dun-coloured palace is Leh’s dominant structure. The construction of the palace on the Tsemo Hill was initiated by Tsewang Namgyal, the founder of the Namgyal dynasty of Ladakh in 1553 and was completed by his nephew Sengge Namgyal.
Let's get lost - That's the thought you get when exploring the Ladhakh region. Me and my bike spent quite a while on this particular stretch near diskit, Nubra valley ahead of one of the world's highest motorable road, KhardungLa! 😊 there is desert on either side of the road and am doing a biker ramp walk :) . . .
