Originally planned to be do our Dragons Back recce on Brecon Beacon in Wales over the weekend, but ended up aborting due to tough weather conditions. Being an unsupported run in a remote part of the route, we opted to take the sensible decision by turning back. Also, Mother Nature is a force you don’t reckon with 🌞❄️
Day two we altered the plans by ditching the mountains and stayed on lower ground for hill work. Well, sand dunes more than hills. We travelled to Europe’s second largest sand dune ‘The Big Dipper’ (66meters/200ft) and carried out repeats. A popular place for elite athletes to train and a well known location for Marathon Des Sables participants for kit test 🏜 .
Enjoy the week ahead and good luck to the @asicsfrontrunner women team who will be running across Oman in four days. Go get them ladies 💪 👧🏼 📷 @marathondoctor
