•As we talked about in a previous post, what you eat before bed can be very important for your sleep. But how about what you DO?⠀
Now this may surprise you - but kiwis have been shown to improve your sleep! ⠀
Now this one may be a bit of a taboo topic BUT it has been proven that after “getting busy,” the hormones secreted will help you and your loved one fall asleep quicker and enjoy an enhanced sleep quality!⠀
Put away electronics! The blue light given off by phones, computers and TVs stimulate your brain and will cause your sleep quality to be less than ideal if used immediately before bedtime. Put the electronics away about an hour before bed. ⠀
Be prepared! You won’t be so anxious about your hectic busy morning if you’ve got everything lined up and ready to go!⠀
♀️Meditate! Let go of your stress, calm down and get yourself ready to completely relax. ⠀
Tidy up! This goes with getting things ready for the morning - if you know you’re rushed in the mornings, and navigating your mess makes it harder, take that ten minutes before bed to do a quick tidy. Also, it’s just easier to get to sleep when the house is cleaned!
