As @kochibiennale's fourth edition begins today, ESL caught up with co-founder and President, @bosekrishmumbai, who tells us what to expect from the art extravaganza this year.
"What this edition promises is a dalliance with new dialogous elements: liberation, freedom, knowledge and pleasure. Our engagements this year are particularly representative of narratives, ideologies and voices from the margins. Taking several strides into the convoluted relationship between art and politics, and layered by Kerala’s own richly textured history of social activism, this edition of the Biennale will strive to challenge the polarising capabilities of ideology through experiments with interaction and accessibility"
The biennale, this year, boasts more than 90 participating artists from 25 countries curated by art historian and critic, Anita Dube
