Last night I finished my #decoration #works in a #pizzeria in #Ventimiglia on the #Italian #Riviera.
The owner wanted smth «#modern, original, #Provence style» so I #mixed trendy #blackboards with a lot of Provence and local flowers and of course with #pizza and its ingredients.
The owner also complained on being tired of looking day after day at one and the same #design. So I did most of the pieces double-sided, so it takes less than half an hour to refresh the decor in the #cafe just by turning the elements upside down (or downside up))). I had had some more ideas but due to the temporal, technical and practical limitations I had to keep them till the next time.
Everything is handmade by me, #pizzas, #vegetables, #flowers and the rest are original #oil-painting on acrylic #painted #plywood.
Here are some pictures «before» and «after» to compare how it was and how it looks now. To my mind, it is a bit kitschy. But what do you expect from a real Italian family owned pizzeria (and that is exactly the case), on the one hand, and it adds some domestic coziness to the atmosphere of the place, I think, from the other.
