KISS MY BOWL.
I finally got to go to @konjiki_ramen ! I have never been a huge ramen fan because I considered all the ramen shops here to be “okay” or “alright”. Often friends would suggest we go eat ramen but I would always pass up on it. However, one of my friends told me that we need to go here and I agreed right away. I had heard so much great things about it including it being Michelin Star recommended giving it that street cred.
There was never one place that I could say had really good ramen until my visit to Konjiki. I ordered the smoky black tonkotsu (roasted garlic oil, house smoked cherry tomatoes and pork, vegetables, braised bamboo shoot, spring onion, leek and pancetta garnish).
This was happiness in my mouth. I lifted the bowl to my lips and drank all of the soup which is something I have never done before. The noodles were chewy and soft, perfect in the lightly smokey and creamy soup base. Who needs to kiss? I can just kiss my Konjiki bowl. It was pure love for me but I am sure it loved me too.
I did beast it and I could have eaten 2 of these in one sitting. I very much look forward to coming here again. The restaurant looks lovely and I love the solid wood around. Whether you catch up with a friend or come here for a date, you will not be disappointed. Saryo Cafe is located at the front of the same unit, so dessert after Konjiki is a blessing. #happyanniversarykonjiki #konjikiramen #ramen
