Summer always flies by too fast 🤨 and with a baby due soon, I know it’ll go by even faster! In the meantime, I’m trying to eat green salads everyday, packed with healthy fats and some protein! 🥗 Seeds and nuts are so tiny, they may seem insignificant- but they are little nutritional powerhouses, full of benefits!! What an easy way to eat more meat-free meals, and amp up your nutrients. These little slivered almonds help cut cholesterol, and add fiber and protein to my salad... while the teeny tiny hemp seeds help balance hormones, ease digestion and fire up metabolism! .

Making your own dressing is a safe way to avoid soy by-product, preservatives and unnecessary added sugars and fats which just burden your health goals. Even if you just drizzle some olive oil and fresh-squeezed lemon juice, you’ll feel better for it 💪🏻 -Mich .

Tante persone mi stanno scrivendo ultimamente perché vorrebbero iniziare a rimettersi in forma ma allo stesso tempo mi chiedono se è possibile interrompere ad agosto oppure "vorrei ma poi non voglio sbattermi in estate". Ok, tieni conto di una cosa: se ragioni in questo modo sarai per sempre vittima delle diete yo-yo. Mi prendo i bibitoni, calo quei 4-5 chili e poi Natale, estate, vacanze, ci si sfonda!!!
Se vuoi dimagrire e rimanere in forma PER SEMPRE, devi affrontare un percorso non troppo restrittivo e che ti aiuti a diventare più consapevole di quello di cui ha bisogno il tuo corpo. ☯️ In ogni caso, se temi l'estate, considera che invece potrebbe proprio essere un momento ottimale!! Hai più tempo per organizzarti, il caldo sopprime il senso della fame e puoi fare tutte quelle attività che non puoi permetterti quando lavori o studi, quindi meno noia e stress e meno fame nervosa! Non solo. D'estate è facile farsi dei pasti rapidi, freschi e ipocalorici. E dormire di più al mattino ci permette di riposare meglio e magari saltare cornetto e brioche per andare direttamente in spiaggia ;)🥐
Comunque una cosa è certa: se vuoi iniziare a stare bene nella tua pelle, non esistono lunedì, non esiste 1 gennaio. Esistono solo i fatti e la gioia e la volontà di iniziare a farsi del bene. -

Sleep, it’s something we do every single day. Yet, most of the human beings on earth don’t know to properly do it. Why? Because nobody ever taught you how to do it!

To get the most out of your 7-8-9 hours (that’s how much you should be getting) you want to setting yourself up for a solid night’s of sleep DURING THE DAY!!! Sounds weird right? But it’s true!
-
No caffeine after 3-4 PM, you don’t want to have caffeine in your system when you go to sleep. That’ll impair sleep quality. Just as having a lot of food to digest. Don’t eat a big meal 2-3 hours before bed.
-
Don’t drink either, this might wake you up because you have to pee. And TRY to not have to train late at night. Training late at night will impair sleep quality. Try to get it in early in the day.
-
Plan your next day so you know exactly what you’ll be doing and you don’t hit your bed thinking about a gazillion things. This one is HUGE.
-
Keep your room cold. This will help you. You’ll thank me later. Block out screens (or use f.lux) to block out blue light, this will mess with your biological clock. Blacking out your room will massively help you.

And lastly, studies have shown that ALL human beings have the best sleep between 10pm and 2pm. So, get your sleep during money time. 10pm to 5-6 am.

If you can use all of these guidelines, and set your life up in such a way that you can hit all of these marks, you’ll sleep quality will MASSIVELY improve, which will improve your energy, which will improve your life and this will turn into a vicious cycle of success.

Oatmeal recipe: I took 1/2 cup of rolled oats, 1/2 cup of @califiafarms almond milk, and cinnamon then soaked them all together overnight. This morning I put the oats in a bowl, microwaved them for 1 minute and then for 30 seconds, then I added @earthbalance peanut butter, banana slices, and a strawberry cut up!

Radish is one of my favourite vegetable because it reminds me of my grandpa who used to grow them in our garden. 💙

I always add them to my salads because they are not only a cool vegetable, rich in minerals (potassium, magnesium, zinc) and vitamins (A, K, C, B6), but they are also Cruciferous veg, thus they stimulate liver detoxification. 🌀

Here’s my standard breakfast and one I highly recommend. 480 calories of a nutrient dense bonanza. 2 eggs, 2/3 cup egg whites, 1 cup oats in water with 1tbsp flaxseed 1oz blueberries and a 1/2 a banana. You could eat 4 big meals like this and still keep your day under 2000. Also I use a greens products called Opti Greens 50 by 1stphorm. It has a tremendous amount of micronutrients you need for optimal health and disease prevention as well digestive enzymes to aid your digestion and help release the nutrients you take in better. I wouldn’t say it’s a replacement to eating vegetables and I still eat plenty daily but if you do slack on them or even if you don’t, I would recommend this product!

ESTADO ACTUAL : De exámenes. A parte de eso, 2kg por encima del peso de competición,comiendo 3100kcal y recuperando buenas sensaciones en el gimnasio. Todo ok. Mentiría si dijera que no me miro al espejo, pero hacía 1 mes (desde la ultima competición) que no analizaba mi físico, con ojo crítico. Contento con lo que veo y nunca satisfecho, como siempre. A partir de aquí seguire contruyendo. Con paciencia y cabeza. Los nattys no podemos esperar grandes ganacias de masa muscular en poco tiempo (sobretodo cuando ya llevas unos años). Pero no tengo prisa. Sobretodo cuando el proceso implica entrenar duro y comer , comer más. Y como me gusta esto: entrenar y llevar una nutrición enfocada a un objetivo. El objetivo, el de siempre, superarme. -
