Here’s a quick plein air gouache study of a cliff out in the ocean near Coos Bay, OR. I liked the spiky trees, teal/deep blue waters and green grass! Grassy Cliff | 5”x5” | Gouache on illustration board

This is the only big project I’ve made this term even though I’m taking two studio classes. Anyways, I created a made up magazine called Dreamland that features a new animation studio every quarter and the fourth edition features @tonkohouse! I’ve never really liked page design, but this class definitely made me appreciate it more.
Chill rainy nights sipping on chai tea and drawing to relax. I haven’t drawn in awhile since I’ve been out skating but it felt nice to spend precious time creating and decompressing visually tonight. The sound of the rain was also calming. Someone come draw with me.
#365challenge day 2 started with the sketch of a Nike backpack hanging on the wall...then Tweety Bird was added after asking a friend for her favorite childhood cartoon. Worked out pretty well, don't you think?? Haha
