Great illustration of traditional workouts compared to @functionalpatterns. As a personal trainer for the past 5 years and a “gym rat” for the last 15 years. I’ve seen and trained many different types of lifting and exercise fads.
At the end of the day, none of them has a foundation that is based on how a human should move from the ground up. Since finding Functional Patterns, everything has changed for me as a trainer and a human, and now realizing that there is so much more to fitness/strength than to lifting a weight up and down from the ground, stretching arbitrarily, or depending on a cardio class for cardiovascular benefits.
Functional Patterns stands out as its own system because its foundation is based on alignment, posture, and specific moving dynamics(biomechanics) of how we are meant to have. Because this foundation is so specific to our health and structure, once you get into dynamic exercises and heavier lifts, the body acclimates to them better and safer. Because of this, our strength potential is much higher since injuries occur much less frequently.
Another benefit to having a strong foundation, is that ANYONE can do it. Anyone can benefit from learning how to fix their dysfunctions and move well.
If you want to learn how to strengthen you’re body as a whole and learn how to move properly, please look more into @functionalpatterns and @fp_results.
If you are in the Sacramento area, come on in to Fit and Functional for a free Functional Assessment to find out how to correct your dysfunctions and create strength that you never imagined possible. #fpallday
