New in second-hand book finds! I decided to spend the day scouring the shelves of local charity shops before being a total walking cliche and wiling away the afternoon in a hipster-friendly coffee shop (you know the ones; lights, plants, a lot of copper/brass and instagram-worthy coffee)
Have you read any of these? What was your most recent used book bargain?
I’ve heard so many good things about Matt Haig’s ‘How to Stop Time’ but not felt any urgency to pick it up. For the bargain price of £1, however, try stopping me!
Jane Eyre is an old favourite but my copy has been long missing from my shelves (borrowed/ stolen, you know how it goes...). I’m glad to finally have it back and I think it’s time to give it a re-read!
As for The Storied Life of A.J Fikry, I’d never even heard of it and that was part of the appeal. It just sounded like a lovely story and I’m in need of something light to counteract my recent heartbreaking reads!
