Repost from @maxstrong - I’ve been an animal lover all my life I’ve had people tell me that the way I interact with animals is crazy. That no matter the time or work I put in to build relationships that animals are animals. That they don’t have souls and aren’t capable of love. People just don’t understand and I get that. If you aren’t around animals often you don’t get to see firsthand the love and affection that they are capable of. I hope to change that! The world needs to see animals in a new light Watch this video and let me know what you think! You may finish it and still think I’m crazy, if so that’s fine. I’m gunna keep doing me. Hopefully though you’ll see the love that even the wildest of animals are capable of and allow it to open up your eyes just a little bit @wildlifeinneed
Don’t get me wrong here though, I’m not telling you to run up to the next wild animal you see and give it a hug and I’m not telling you that wild animals can be treated as pets, they can’t. That’s not how it works and I would never recommend that. I’ve worked with these animals for years at licensed facilities. What I am trying to tell you is that contrary to popular belief animals are capable of love, affection, and relationships. Capable of so much more than most humans give them credit for. I’ve met far more people with hatred in their hearts than I have animals. Instead of us humans always wanting to judge the animals of our planet, maybe we should try to learn a thing or two from them instead ♂️
I'm pissed. Everyone's walking up and down the stairs all day long, and I'm the only one who's not allowed up there. I bet that's where my treats are hidden! One day I'll sneak upstairs and eat them all - but don't tell mommy!
