This is, what we call in my country, “Carbonada”.
Carbonada is a typical Chilean dish. It’s done in a big por over the stove, and it has chopped pumpkin, corn, potatoes and meat.
To this you add boiling water and let it simmer for a while.
The flavors come out and the water gets a tasty salty flavor.
You serve it hot, typically in a clay plate.
This is a homemade Carbonada, and the recipe will be in my blog this week.
