@ronmagillconservation If you are free on Saturday evening from 7 - 8PM, please join me at Zoo Miami as I introduce you to this beautiful animal, "Chelsea" and her partner, "Pete," two orphaned sloths that were rescued in the Republic of Panama and have come to Zoo Miami to serve as ambassadors for all of the amazing wildlife in the tropical forests of Central and South America. I will share with you the wonderful work being done in Panama by a an incredible organization that is rescuing everything from jaguars to eagles through stories and images that I have amassed over the past 25 years of working in Panama. Free refreshments will be served! There are just a few seats left so call 305-255-5551 to book your seat or just click the link below to get your tickets online. We are only asking for a $5 contribution to help further the efforts of the Ron Magill Conservation Endowment. I hope to see you there!

##SlowDown Reading my page, it must seem like I’m a very active and on-the-go guy (and I am!).. but I’ve also learned just how important it is to listen to your body, slow down and REST when you need to.
Rest is not only good for you - it’s essential! I’ve always lived at 1,000 miles an hour, always wanting to please other people and quite often not thinking about me or the impact burning myself out would have on my health. As a result I made myself very ill. The things is, you don’t need to live like this - sure there are so many pressures in this modern world and there has to be a lot of juggling when you work full-time, are a parent, in a relationship and have friends and family to think about. But you and your own health are important too.
I’m not here to preach, but would actively encourage anyone reading to really look in the mirror and think - are you taking care of yourself? Listen to your body, slow down and make time for yourself when you need it.
