MASALA IDLI - A perfect healthy and tasty breakfast.
4 idlis (preferably rawa idli)
1 green chilli chopped
Vegetables (1 onion, 1 tomato, 1/4th cabbage, 1 capsicum, 1 carrot) cut into thin slices.
4-5 curry leaves (optional)
2 teaspoons oil
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds (rai)
Pinch of black pepper
1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
1/4 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon lemon juice
🌼Heat the oil in frying pan over medium-high heat.
🌼Add mustard seeds, as the seeds crack, add chillies, onions and curry leaves. After they are cooked add cabbage, capsicum, and carrots. Add tomatoes in the end. Stir-fry three to four minutes, vegetables should be crisp, do not overcook.
🌼Add salt, sugar, black pepper and lemon juice. Mix well. 🌼Mix the idlies with stir fry and turn off the heat. Masala idlies are ready. #masalaidli #vegetableidli
