So I’ve had to go for a couple of ultrasounds recently (before you ask, no I am NOT pregnant!), and I had to drink 1L of water within a 30 minute time frame beforehand, and then keep it in for an hour.
Stupidly, for my first scan, I think I miss measured my water, and I ended up drinking and holding 1.5 - 2 Litres for an hour 😳 I can tell you I was in agony 😆
Halfway through drinking my measured out water, I literally felt like I was going to throw up. Understandably! Anyways, I thought I’d add in some of Young Livings culinary essential oils (which are safe for consumption) to add a bit of flavour, and I tell you what, continuing my way through that water was totally doable again! I was able to finish off what I thought was 1L (🙈), without feeling the need to throw up again.
Hopefully you don’t need to go through any of this, but if you struggle with your water intake, try adding some of Young Livings citrus oils; they taste amazing and can even help curb sugar cravings - hello summer body support!
