Gorilla Grip‼️🦍 Ladies & gents, if you haven't heard the news flash, rubber is EXTREMELY durable! There's a reason why our car tires have been made of rubber for nearly 100 yrs now. Not only that, rubber grips extremely well to hard surfaced objects (like pavement) & most importantly, metal weights and bars that we use everyday in the gym. Now, we all get tired in the gym from time to time & because of that can't finish as many reps as we want to sometimes. However, another reason why we can't finish those reps when we're lifting bare-handed or lifting with leather based gloves is b/c are hands are fatigued from holding onto the weights. I hired a new GAINZ ASSISTANT to get these arms even bigger!!! Today was really Back & Calves but I feel like I want to isolate my arms more and this is a way to do it. -

Warsaw - A city filled with outrageously delicious food (that cost f*** all). I have genuinely considered flying over for one night just to eat breakfast at @bulkeprzezbibulke one more time 😍 I 100% recommend for a long weekend trip. So much to see. So much to eat!!

It’s #TransformationTuesday !💪😎💪😅 Today, we’re sharing Elizabeth’s journey of strength and muscle gain after spinning her wheels doing too much cardio and ineffective workouts.

Check out how she built 8lbs of pure muscle, mastered the pull up for reps, and discovered how Strength Training is the best way tone up and get strong!🏋️️ Elizabeth started her fitness journey- like most people-with high intensity cardio and boot camp style group classes. But, her results soon plateaued. She realized there had to be something better suited to her goals.

In her own words, Elizabeth explains: “I was working out at OrangeTheory prior to starting at Capital Strength. Although OrangeTheory kept me in shape, it really wasn't giving me the results I desired. I really wanted to build muscle and tone, which is why the Capital Strength Transformation Challenge appealed to me.” At first, Elizabeth was a little skeptical. She had never worked with a coach or lifted weights before. She told us “I never worked with a Personal Trainer...I’ve always been interested in strength training, but I was most skeptical about the workouts. I was unsure of what to expect so I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it (BUT I was so wrong, I LOVE it!)” Now she’s kicking butt and feeling great! Beyond the strength and muscle results, she’s also developed healthy habits. Elizabeth said: “Training has positively impacted several aspects of my life. I am more focused on my sleeping and eating habits, which aides my workout performance. Something people overlook when squatting. That walk out. Two steps. Thats all you need. You take those steps and you should be in your stance. No wobbling your feet. Adjusting to get it just right. Cuz once you get to bigger numbers, that adjustment can throw your back out. Itll blow your knee out.
I feel this little clip of my beltless, wrapless, strapless, headphoneless triples is a great teaching tool.
Depth is there. Two steps out. Neutral spine. Head forward. Its taken me years to get this form down. It doesnt happen overnight. And now that ive got it, my wheels feel more powerful and healthy overall. Its a shame ive been slacking this whole time

Muscles Worked:
When using the ab roller, your core moves to prevent your back from arching. From flexing the spine to stretching and contracting your abs through a full range of motion. This movement provides a huge challenge to your rectus abdominus; the six pack muscle. As well as deep spinal stabilizers, such as the transerve abdominus. This makes the ab wheel roller a great tool for both a stronger, and more muscular core.

Accessory muscles:
The ab wheel rollout is more than an ab exercise; it’s a challenge to your hips, shoulders, triceps, and latissimus dorsi. These muscles stabilize your body from shoulder to tailbone while the wheel rolls in front of your body.

How To:
Hold the Ab Roller with both hands and kneel on the floor.

Now place the ab roller on the floor in front of you so that you are on all your hands and knees (as in a kneeling push up position). This will be your starting position.

Slowly roll the ab roller straight forward, stretching your body into a straight position. Tip: Go down as far as you can without touching the floor with your body. Breathe in during this portion of the movement.

After a pause at the stretched position, start pulling yourself back to the starting position as you breathe out. When you have people watching you, and cheering you on, you don’t want to let them see you fail—it’s a healthy kind of motivation. When you do start to lose sight of your goal, they are right there to point you back on track, and remind you WHY you are working so hard.

I want to challenge YOU to drink a gallon of water and exercise for 30 minutes a day for 30 days.
My exercise that I’ll personally be incorporating will be stair master and running—because let’s be honest, cardio is my downfall. 😅 You could go for a morning walk with your dog, play basketball, lift weights, do at home banded booty workouts(the best), or whatever you want!
