It’s #TransformationTuesday ! Today, we’re sharing Elizabeth’s journey of strength and muscle gain after spinning her wheels doing too much cardio and ineffective workouts.
Check out how she built 8lbs of pure muscle, mastered the pull up for reps, and discovered how Strength Training is the best way tone up and get strong!️ Elizabeth started her fitness journey- like most people-with high intensity cardio and boot camp style group classes. But, her results soon plateaued. She realized there had to be something better suited to her goals.
In her own words, Elizabeth explains: “I was working out at OrangeTheory prior to starting at Capital Strength. Although OrangeTheory kept me in shape, it really wasn't giving me the results I desired. I really wanted to build muscle and tone, which is why the Capital Strength Transformation Challenge appealed to me.” At first, Elizabeth was a little skeptical. She had never worked with a coach or lifted weights before. She told us “I never worked with a Personal Trainer...I’ve always been interested in strength training, but I was most skeptical about the workouts. I was unsure of what to expect so I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it (BUT I was so wrong, I LOVE it!)” Now she’s kicking butt and feeling great! Beyond the strength and muscle results, she’s also developed healthy habits. Elizabeth said: “Training has positively impacted several aspects of my life. I am more focused on my sleeping and eating habits, which aides my workout performance.
