1. Gorgeous palm tree on The Malvarrosa Beach. (Look at that sky....!!) 2. We came across the cutest stray cat who’d been fed paella. Such a Spanish (and spoiled) cat, that rice looked delish. Olé! 3. La Fabrica de Hielo. Love the vibe in this place, especially with a vermut in my hot little hand (yep, i’m back at it)... Wish i could take Evil out with me like a lil pup. . #valencia#spain#touristinmycity
🇺🇸 TWO YEARS. We’ve lived in the DC area for two years today 🎉 To mark the occasion I’m sharing the dorkiest historic thing we’ve done since moving here . . . Kids: someday you’ll think this was cool. Maybe . . . If you are in Washington, DC for the 4th of July my number 1 FREE AND SUPER COOL (in a history nerd kinda way) thing to do is to visit the National Archives for the reading of the Declaration of a Independence. . . . Y’all. This document was written to be read out loud to the masses and you think you know, but trust me you don’t know, the passion it contains until you hear a live dramatic reading. We’ve done this the past two years (wearing our Uber basic matching Old Navy flag shirts because- of course we did) and I get chills and tears every time. More about this and other cool 4th of July things on the blog today. #ontheblog#DCfourthofjuly#freeinDC#linkinbio#july4th2018#july4th2019#visitwashingtondc#touristinmycity#visitdcwithkids#visitdc#july4th#summer2019#travelig#familytravel#historictravel
stunning blood moon this morning glorious and powerful.
Afternoon tea at one of my favourite London tea spots @theteaterrace 💕 The last time I came here I really enjoyed the lemon drizzle cake and tea but this time my friend and I opted to have afternoon tea☕️ the selection was great, we loved the scones with cream and jam it was made just right with the right amount of softness. Although I actually hated how messy the scones could be, they were really nice. The tea was great as usual, nothing can beat English tea for me. Perhaps Indian chai but that’s it. I loved the sandwiches but because of my diet I didn’t really eat anything on the top plate to avoid too much sugar intake. I think out of all cafes or tea spots, I can trust The Tea Terrace the most for when it comes to its gorgeous decorations or just the simple fact that the food is always great unlike other places in the city. For that reason, I’d give them 5/5💗
#touristinmycity#capetown#tablemountain More adventuring in Cape Town. Took thenMyCiti to the Civic Centre and walked via St Georges through the gardens. Made a left and found our way to @yardcapetown. The huge burgers hit just the right spot. Got back on to MyCiti to make our way back home.
