May not be in the hospital for the happiest of reasons (I’m fine: send good vibes & prayers for my sister and my nephew) - but I gotta say, thank God for the fortune of having access to healthcare at one of the best hospitals in Boston. My dad has struggled for 20 years working here to make sure my family and I are always given the best care imaginable, and its the simple things like this that make me feel so grateful for life. We’re not in control of the cards that we’ve been dealt, but we are in control of how grateful we are, how humble we are, how we give back, and how we use the cards we have in our hands. With Thanksgiving a week away, it seems so appropriate to be so thankful for BIG and LITTLE blessings: such as the doctors that have cared for my family for 20 years and counting - and the amazing view that they give us every time we’re here! Whether it be for check ups, illness, for newborn babies, or for our jobs, we’ve always been taken care of at Mass. General Hospital, and I’ve always felt right at home! ❤️
