It's far too wet today for me to sit in the garden today. But the birds still need to be fed. Come rain or shine they are always here. I've had a couple of people say there is no way you get all those birds in your garden. Well look they still come to visit in the worst of conditions. Anyone can have lots of birds visiting your feeders, all it takes is time and a lot of patience. Nothing happens overnight, it's taken over a year of putting out fresh water and food everyday. (water is just as important as food) For the first few months I was only getting the odd Sparrow and a lot of Starlings. But gradually they came to the feeders, and they keep on coming back, because it is now a reliable food and water source for them. I get so much enjoyment out of just sitting down and watching them, an hour can pass by in what seems like a moment. I only have a small garden, but it's my own piece of paradise.
