Too blessed to be stressed ✌🏽
I used to be that 'stress head'-Wound up like a tight spring all the time.
Seriously, when I have my challenging moments in life (and trust me, I do) I have to remind myself that there is way too much GOOD SHIT going on in my life and not sweat over the negatives that pop in every once in a while.
As we head into arguably the most stressful time of the year for a lot of people, I want to remind you of some simple things you can do to keep positive energy flowing 💦
1. Have your moment. Notice I said, 'moment'. I give myself like 15 minutes to yell, cry, scream and be a tool before I take a huge inhale & exhale and throw it all away. 🖕🏽 2. Sweat it out. Not because you are trying to save space for more ice cream, but because movement of the body creates movement of the mind 💫
3. Find some quiet moments, whether that means full on meditation, a walk, or hiding in your wardrobe for a few minutes, everyone needs some time alone with their thoughts 👀
4. Say out loud something you are grateful for. Like out loud. Where you can hear yourself. All the cool 😎 kids talk to themselves. And it’s a great reminder of all that is right in your world 🌎
So this holiday Christmas season I want you to remember that you are TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED. Life can be a bitch, but it also can be a beauty, and what you focus on is what is your reality. So focus on what’s truly merry and bright in your life🎄
