The scattered remnants of the Aral (Sea of Islands) Sea in #Kazakhstan and #Uzbekistan, which used to be the 4th largest lake in the world. Diversion for agriculture has reduced the lake to 10% of its original size, resulting in desertification, economic collapse & public health issues. #TheStoryofWater
