UPDATE ON CHARLIE
Firstly I just want to say the biggest THANK YOU for all the beautiful messages and well wishes for Charlie your energy and positivity is so incredible, Charlie and all of the family can’t thank you enough
Adam and I have been very lucky to have had the chance to visit her yesterday and today, and I have been trying my best to hold myself together and bring her all the love and positivity you have been sending
She is super alert and excited on our visits and has had a million kisses to give..she has shown some good progress in her neural tests and has even moved her toes when I have given her little legs a bit of a massage She’s been able to stand for a little bit when you hold her too
We get to speak to the surgeon tomorrow properly about her progress and when we will be able to take her home so fingers crossed she keeps fighting and getting stronger
Go little Charlie!! We are all behind you!
I thought I’d share my favourite yoga video with her Every morning she would always want to be a part of my wake up yoga she would be the first one on my mat when I rolled it out and would weave and wind around my flow in a beautiful little dance best yoga buddy ever I love you and miss you little one

I’m going to try my best to write this.
On Thursday night Charlie had an accident. We rushed her to the emergency vet and found out she had badly injured her back. She couldn’t use her back legs and she was trembling in pain.
Charlie had to go into spinal surgery on Friday morning. Although the surgery went really well, they found she had ruptured a disc which had caused her spinal cord to swell. They told us that she had a 50/50 chance she would either begin to recover slowly or that her spinal cord would start to ‘melt’ (which means we would have to let her go).
It’s been the most painful 24hrs. The feeling of not knowing is excruciating. To think that 2 completely different outcomes can happen at any moment has broken us to a point I can’t explain.
BUT, this morning we got a call from the surgeon who told us that Charlie had really good feeling in her back legs, a very positive sign
We aren’t completely out of it yet, but Charlie is fighting
I wanted to share this with you because you guys have seen her grow up here. I get messages and comments about her all the time and I know you guys care and love her too She is my shadow, she does EVERYTHING with me (as I know you have seen from my posts and stories), and I love her more than words can explain.
Thank you to our family and friends for sending their love and healing vibes it’s working, she feels it..and I know she will keep fighting
I love you my little Charlie Bear Mum, Daddy and Willow are waiting for cuddles as soon as you’re ready ♂️ x

Learn to get back on track. And get used to it.
Because there will be times where you mess up or things just don’t go your way. It might be only for a moment, a day, a weekend, or even a week or entire month. It will happen. And that’s ok.
The secret is to learn to forgive yourself and to forgive the situation. And to try again. Over and over again.
Because nothing can stop you if you get up and show up. Every. Single. Day.

This world is not made of shades of grey. It is made of colours like azure and coral and emerald and marigold. But it insists on painting everything in black and white and fitting it into boxes that it understands.
Do not do that to yourself.
Paint your personality a million different colours. Leave them scratching their heads, unsure of how to handle the magic that you are.
