I’ve been slacking on my seafood intake (eating less than 2 servings per week) which means it’s time to supplement my omega-3s. In addition to my regular multi routine, I’ve also added @1stphorm Full Mega to my breakfast. When it comes to fish oils, you want to make sure the product has enough Omega-3s per serving (and not all brands are the same, so check the label). I usually aim for about 3 grams per day, which is the amount frequently recommended by research _

For me, eating healthy and drinking lots of water is cake Mon-Thur… but then the weekend hits and happens! You can do a lot of damage in only a few days. I frequently get emails from women who can’t seem to lose the last few pounds, even though they swear they eat all of the right foods 4-5x per day. The issue usually comes down to what happens from Friday night – Sunday. Here are a few tips to keep in mind:
1) Stay hydrated! I use the @1stphorm hydator jug to ensure I’m getting enough water each day. When you’re thirsty, your body can mistake it for hunger and cause you to eat more snacks than necessary. It’s also important to pre/rehydrate when drinking alcohol (which should also be limited to achieve ab goals). _
2) Keep the cheat meal to a meal, not an entire day/weekend. One cheat meal can have 500-1000 calories (aka hours worth of workouts and cardio). It’s perfectly healthy to “treat yo self” but don’t reverse all of your hard work!

Anyone out there use coffee to get pumped up before the gym? If you like the rush of caffeine before a workout, then you’ve got to try @1stphorm MegaWatt V2 _

PS. I’m very caffeine sensitive so a 1/2 scoop of Megawatt is all I need to feel completely dialed in and motivated for a workout (and the rest of the day)
