Sleepless in Seattle!✨⛺️ It was so sweet of @thompsonseattle to make our stay magical by setting up a little Tipi and sending some cookie & milk for the kids in the evening. Wish there is some space left for me.🧐 PS: did you see the night view from our window? 🎡👌
Sharing plates menu is huge right now. Did you know that already? I definitely started noticing it when we were eating our way around Seattle two weeks ago. At @sawyer.seattle, we had a great experience with sharing small plates. A traditional three-course meal is very linear and organized, consisting of appetizers followed by an entree, then dessert. At Saywer, you order dishes by the size of its plates. This way, we were able to mix and match different food selections. Instead of stuffing our faces with an individualized meal, those small plates gave us a chance to try so many new dishes. 👏😋 What do you prefer? A sharing menu or a more traditional menu? PS: @sawyer.seattle is a very popular spot in Seattle, do make reservations well in advance. 5-6 pm is quieter and easier to get a table.
Joshua Tree Residence! 🌵 Absolutely love the design of this futuristic house by @whitaker_studio. I don’t think the house is actually being built yet and these are just a set of computer-generated imagery (CGI). Nonetheless, I thought it looks super cool and wanted to share with you. What do you think? 🤔 Tag someone you would want to live there with.
All I need today are some books and tea. 📚🍵🧁😌 This beautiful library is in the Penthouse of @fairmontsanfrancisco, my favorite room of all. It even has a secret passage behind the book shelves! And did you notice the ceiling? 👌 Tag someone who loves books.
🌃 Night view from one of the most prestigious and legendary residences, not just in San Francisco, but also in the world. The Penthouse of @fairmontsanfrancisco! It hosted world leaders, celebrities, Royal families, and was filmed in many movies. It was such a privilege to visit this place and look at all the amazing designs of its eight rooms. Hope to share some more photos with you soon. Now, can you guess how much it costs to stay there for a night? 💲🤔 #sf#sanfrancisco#penthouse#aroomwithaview
*Ad “What camera do you use when you travel?” 📸 I get this question almost daily! Truth to be told, until a month ago, I have been using @CanonUSA’s DSLR cameras, which are really fantastic, but can be challenging when we do long hikes and underwater adventures. Then recently Canon asked me to try out their newly released EOS RP and I jumped into the project straight away. I have been waiting for a lightweight and high quality mirrorless camera for a while now. To really test out the camera and give my honest feedback, I decided to shoot almost my entire trip in Canada with Canon EOS RP. My previous DSLR camera was only used as a backup. The verdict? I couldn’t be happier with the results. The EOS RP was very easy to handle and worked great with indoor (low-light) and outdoor conditions. I used it during snowmobiling, ziplining, hiking and dining in the restaurant. You can shoot both images formats (Raw and JPEG) and videos. I also tested the camera with shooting various content types, such as landscape, food, portraits and lifestyle. They all turned out really well. The RF 24-105mm F4 L IS USM lens was just perfect shot things from far way and up close. And for those of you, who are either looking for a camera to use for yourselves or giving it to someone you love (parents, kids, or relatives, who are starting photography), EOS RP is really a great choice from the technical and price point of view. Swipe see the various shots. Feel free to comment below and ask me any questions you might have. Check my instastories for camera settings for the shots. #TeamCanon#EOSRP
Magical dinner and movie night at @foreigncinemasf ! ✨Twinkling string lights, vintage theater-themed setting, glamorous decor and an exquisite farm-to-table menu... It was one of the coolest and most delicious dining experiences we had in San Francisco. Can you guess which movie was shown? 🤔🎥🍿 Tag someone you want to visit this place with. 👬👫👫 Tip: Do try to make a reservation on the outdoor patio on a clear night. The movie starts around sunset, so I would suggest getting there around half an hour or an hour earlier to start the meal. Swipe to see some more snaps on the restaurant setting and dishes. #sf#sanfrancisco#alwayssf
One of the best-kept secret places in San Francisco 🤫 - @thebatterysf, which is a private club that only resident members have access to. There’s a long waitlist to join this secretive club, but there is a way around it: book a night at one of @thebatterysf’s 14 guestrooms. With the reservation, you’re granted access to the club’s facilities during your stay. I hope you could see from the pictures just see how stunning this place really is, from the lounge to the bathroom. @thebatterysf is full of amazing artworks, vintage furniture, beautiful tableware, and much more. Photobooth, Secret Room (check my instastory before it is gone), Penthouse, Library, Spa… It truly is a luxury hotel, but in a very discreet and understated way. The hotel staff is super down-to-earth and friendly, unlike many other private clubs you might have heard of or experienced. Do book the guestroom well ahead of your trip as they have full reservations, pretty much all the time!
PS: Please note, the hotel doesn’t allow taking photos or usage of digital devices in certain lounging and dining areas. By doing that, it encourages people to communicate and connect with each other in a more meaningful and social way. I was given the permission to take some photos before guests arrive. After that, I was happy to put down the camera and enjoy the hotel like everyone else. 👏☺️
Happy Mother’s Day to me and all the wonderful Moms out there! Celebrating this special weekend at @thebatterysf, which is an amazing property. Stunningly beautiful! 😱 Can’t wait to show you more. For now, I will enjoy my day (lots of food throughout the day) and receive as many hugs and kisses from the kids as I possibly can. ☺️ #batterysf
