Here are 3 techniques (shadow, border + freeform gradient) which hopefully will help you start experimenting with text on Adobe Illustrator. The last one is a brand new Adobe #Illustrator feature and suuuuper cool. #AdobePartner @adobecreativecloud

Experience➡️sketches➡️final artwork.
On IG I try to show a bit more than just my final artworks. I try to show I’m not just drawing mountains I found on google- I’m drawing from real life experiences, like when I saw the Austrian alps for the first time (and almost cried). I try to show that I’m not just creating positive quotes about embracing life for the reposts- I’m creating based on my experiences and what I need to hear myself. All art comes from a personal framework- I hope I’ve shown that here ❤️

Sketches inspired by the days I spent exploring mountains in Austria and drawing the flowers I found growing wild there ⛰️ #Austria

Sketches from when I spent 3 weeks alone on trains across the Scottish countryside and falling in love with mountains 🌿 have you ever been to Scotland? Posting the inspiration behind these images on my story today ♥️ @myscotrail

Today’s drawing studio 🖍🍃Contrary to popular belief, you don’t have to be sitting in an office for 8 hours a day to be productive- (or inside at all!). This is my garden studio for the next month or two , but I don’t have a permanent studio. I’ve set up workspaces on beaches in Hawai’i, a cabin in Slovakia, a rooftop in NYC and rolling hills in Scotland. My creativity/productivity (but most importantly, my wellbeing) has improved with flexibility and being outside more.
Not everyone can be a freelancer or work remotely, and some people thrive on stability and structure, but I hope more office workplaces will start to recognise flexible working conditions and value their workers’ wellbeing❤️
Let people work from home more, have outdoor working spaces for when people need vitamin D, recognise working parents need flexible hours, allow people to work remotely for a month or two (and watch how much richer and more productive their work becomes!) , trust your workers- am I missing something?

Part 4. Staying busy only becomes a problem when we feel too guilty to stop EVEN when we want to. Staying busy becomes a problem if being 'busy' is a part of our identity we feel lost without. It becomes a problem when we feel unproductive for wanting to take a moment for ourselves, or feel too scared to be alone with ourselves in silence. Give yourself permission. Allow yourself silence. Allow yourself to just 'be'.

Illustrated Inspo from LA 🌴 I had such a wonderful time there this week, maybe you recognise the spots I found inspiration from! Think I might do sketches from all the places I’ve visited this year? I am finally staying still enough to reflect on my solo travels ❤️

Announcement: it's time for me to stop travelling for a bit. It's time for me to sit with what I've learnt from 4+ months of travelling and just 'be' for the rest of the year. Tomorrow I was going to start another long stretch of travel just because I could. I felt guilty for not taking the opportunity to do so...but I don't want to just travel because I can, I want to travel because I have that itch to see the world again. For the first time in a long time, I'm happy to be home ♥️✈️♥️ [Image description: hand holding a red notebook which reads 'slow down']

This quote/artwork of mine has been going viral lately so I'm gonna repost it now! If you spot it on the web please help me out by asking people to tag/credit me 😁 all my work is original, including the words and thoughts! This thought came out of 4 months of travelling and learning to slow down and find balance (and in turn somehow creating some of the best work I've ever made and going further in my career than ever!?)

After a few weeks at home I'm off travelling again! Starting with Los Angeles for #AdobeMAX , which is basically the design event of the year and literally all my fav internet illustrators are here 😭😍 Not everyone is able to come to LA for this event so I'm going to be sharing as much as possible via my stories this week so you can learn and be part of it too! Thanks @adobecreativecloud for flying me out once again and supporting us artists ✈️🇺🇸 #AdobeInsiders #AdobePartner #Sp
