[Anzeige] Back in June I went to the Julian Alps for the first time and put the new camera of the @samsungmobile_de#GalaxyS10+ to the test. Both, the camera and the landscapes blew my mind! Really! Coming back here for me is a no-brainer. There was still much snow left in higher altitudes which made the planning and summits a bit more tricky, but in the end almost everything worked out and together with @h_elen_a I was able to capture some beautiful landscapes. Everything was shot in Pro Mode to be able to adjust settings such as ISO, shutter speed and exposure levels. It also gets me great editable DNGs (digital negativ format) for postprocessing. An endless and very rugged coastline with jagged island mountains and endless open plateaus. Welcome to Northern Norway! 🇳🇴 The region north of the Arctic Circle covers 50 % of Norway's area but is generally sparsely populated with only 1/10 of Norway's population. Probably a bit more in the holiday season right now 😉
@h_elen_a and me are going there next week. So if you have any tips for the areas of Lofoten, Vesterålen, Senja or Lyngen Alps we would really appreciate it. I’ve been to this area three times. But once for a pretty busy job, once with the focus on surfing and one more time to find and photograph orcas. So with this trip I’m looking forward to see this place in a proper manner with more time in the mountains… Any recommendations? Please post them in the comments 🙏🏼
No fall zone 😉 💦 ...crazy how time is passing by. Almost a year ago we had the privilege to check out this area in southern Greenland. Great memories! In ten says I travel to the north again. We go to Norway. This time with my girlfriend @h_elen_a as she wanted to see the fjords up there with her own eyes since forever... Anyone up there this month? 🤙🏼
Somehow we feel just more alive up there ⛰ From an recent overnight trip with @h_elen_a. More to come... For images like this you have to carry a telephoto lens with you. It heavy but almost always worth it... Do you have any photography related questions? Let me know ✌🏼
Probably the best activity to escape the heatwave in Europe - go as high as possible! 🏔 Good times last July in Switzerland when we climbed Obergabelhorn 4,063 m (13,330 ft) and Zinalrothorn 4,221 m (13,848 ft). w/ @stefanfilzmoser & @rebell4life
Mount Agung at 3031 m (9944 ft) 🌋 It’s the highest point on Bali. I promise it’s a more rewarding experience than your typical ricefield/waterfall photo on the island... But be aware, the volcano Mt. Agung is currently active. I took those photos in April 2017 ✌🏼Have you been up there?
This weekend I was kinda forced to do nothing physically. My left leg needs some rest so that the swelling (baker cyst) in my knee has time to go down. Works pretty good so far 🙌🏼 I used the time to edit some recent work I shot in the Julian Alps. Here’s one shot from the Triglav Nationalpark in Slovenia. Pre sunrise above the clouds. Definitely a reason why we love to go to the mountains so much 🏔 *Anzeige Stoked that all my work is backed-up on my @DroboStorage system with @Seagate IronWolf HDDs.
The Nordkette. Just north of my home town Innsbruck in Austria. It has it all! Freeride runs, single trails, climbing routes and a ton of hiking, plus some alpine huts for multi-day tours. Something for everyone 🤙🏼
